Sundays are always a day of reflection for me and today most appropriate to share with you this final version of our BodiScience video.
This video was a labor of love. Over these past 30+ years I have had the honor of being welcomed into many of our client’s lives. Many have become like family, and I do not use those words without “soul meaning”. My staff are my family, and they are an intricate puzzle piece to why BodiScience has been here for over 30 years. It is not just one or two employees that create BodiScience, it is the passing on of education, teamwork, determination, integrity, authenticity, joy, passion and pure love. Passing the torch to each other to keep us strong.
The clients in this video are near and dear to my heart. Not many people would respond to your call within seconds and give a resounding “Yes”! So grateful and humbled for that enthusiastic response!!
Having a small business today, is much different than 30 years ago. 30 years ago, no social media existed, but yet we grew quickly by word of mouth from clients that wanted to see us succeed! In 3 months, we were in need of expanding from our small place in Middleton, MA!
I truly hold in my heart each wellness relationship we have built over the years. The many clients that allow us into their lives, giving us the honor to walk hand and hand through many life events with them sharing wellness advice – from marriage to birth of children, to watching their children grow and become incredible young ladies and men, to having their own family, to being a part of moments that mark their lives, to the loss of loved ones, and much more. The hugs, the cries, the joys the celebrations have been pure sweetness. For each and every client that has been with us the entire 32 years, I bow my head in gratitude – it is because of “each client” that has wanted us to succeed that we are still here.
Today business is different. But the magic still exists of how small business contributes, how they bring an unseen component to their community, how they strive to stay in business and how they place their heart and soul into all they do. I am so appreciative of starting may business back in the 90’s where clients arrived with baked goods to great us and wish us well. I recall the precious Trudy Peterson and Mert Boardman that lived in Middleton MA, who were like our own a welcoming committee! Margie Graff was an amazing support to us introducing and bringing her temple friends to us! – truly old fashion small business support!

Business is about the relationships you build; we are so humbled by the relationships we have fostered throughout the years.
