Breast Care Awareness Month

There are many good things we can do for our breast. When we take time to reconnect with our essential feminine nature there are a boundless benefits that unfold. Below are a few that we may guide you with, as well as 3 things you can do at home.

Many countries include breast massage in both their body and face treatment offerings, knowing that the breast is the area that holds the majority of our lymphatic nodes and ducts. By moving this fluid we strengthen our immune system, balance our hormones and brighten our complexion all at the same time.

Pomegranate Breast Massage Oil – A Tridoshic blend for toning, cleansing and nourishing the breast tissue.

Ageless Algae Mouse Mask – Wonderful for the face and very mineralizing and nourishing for the breasts. Apply as a mask to the breasts and décolleté and leave on for ten minutes before rinsing in the shower. Then apply body gel. available in-spa

Firming Body Gel – Firms the breast tissue.

Manual Massage – Applying a gentle massage will increase circulation and the overall health of the breast tissue.

Drainage & Light Therapy – Reduces congestion, increases circulation, eliminates toxins, and tonifies the breast tissue.

3 Things you can do this month to care for your breasts.

1.) Practice breast self-massage in tandem with spa services. The best oil to select is our Pomegranate Breast Massage Oil, as pomegranate oil, for thousands of years has been highly revered as a sacred fruit carrying potent antioxidant properties.

2.) Eat a diet low in animal or saturated fat or mono-saturated fats, refined sugar, dairy products, red meats, caffeine and high in whole grains (i.e. brown rice, oats, barley), green and orange vegetables (i.e. carrots, squash, kale, broccoli, cabbage, ect.)

3.) Be complimentary to yourself about what you like about your body and compliment others as well. Overcome the cultural stereotypes that imprison us and our view of others. According to Ayurveda, each body type has its own unique beauty. Seek that out in yourself and become it.

Bonus –  Shed your bra, as we have become more obsessed with how our breast look, we have created bras that hold us up, hold us in and even hold us with the help of water inserts, wires, plastic and foam. Allow our breasts to get some exercise helps to move the lymphatic fluid. When we remove our bra and see an indentation from the wire or push-up bra itself, we are constricting the flow and allowing toxins to accumulate. Constricting our breast tissue also weakens our muscles and may cause sagging.

Namaste,

Dawn
