Wood
Prepare for Spring
Swiss-based Phytobiodermie combines the energetic concept of traditional Chinese medicine and the best of nature to create a complete skincare line for the spring.
For most, Spring time means the arrival of fresh flowers, wind and yes, showers. But to Phytobiodermie, a skincare line based on the traditional Chinese elements, Spring harkens the arrival of the Wood season (or “Energetic Spring”). The “Energetic” Spring season runs from February 5 to March 16.
According to Chinese tradition, Wood, one of the five Elements, is associated with a color (Green), a season (Spring), two body organs (the liver and gall bladder), specific skin conditions (such as oily skin), a sound, a taste, an emotion and more. Based on this philosophy, Phytobiodermie has created a full Wood skin care line. Wood products are ideal for both the “energetic” Spring season and at any time during the year for anyone with for Wood-related skin conditions, such as oily skin or hyperpigmentation.
Phytobiodermie’s line of Wood skincare products, to be applied after cleansing, includes:

About Phytobiodermie
The Phytobiodermie Method evolved in the sixties as the energetic principles of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) were widely embraced in Europe. Focusing on the energetic value of natural ingredients, particularly pure essential oils mixed with algae, clay and other minerals, Phytobiodermie pioneered an effective and holistic approach to skin care. Phytobiodermie also includes energetic drainage in its treatment protocols, supported by light therapy to enhance energetic balance.
Phytobiodermie products are made in Switzerland, and are animal product- and cruelty-free. Phytobiodermie is available in more than 20 countries around the world.
